Stacey Stacy

Hello! My name is Stacey Stacy. I serve as one of Area 2’s Co-Presidents for the 2022-2024 term. I have served in PTA officer roles for over 5 years; President on the elementary, middle, and high school levels, and as a parent volunteer in various roles for over 15 years. I also served 2 years as Vice President on the Council level for Area 2 this past term. In addition to my current role as Co-President for Area 2, I serve as Treasurer at Peachtree Ridge High School. I am a servant at heart and volunteer on other boards in my community as well. I am passionate about the welfare of all students and being a voice for them and my community. When not volunteering, I serve my community as a Realtor and owner of a home-based bookkeeping business. I am excited to meet you all and I look forward to working with you!

Hello! My name is Kim Austin and this is my second year serving as the Secretary for Area II Gwinnett Council of PTAs. My daughter began attending Gwinnett County Public schools in the fall of 2020 (yes – in the midst of COVID!) and I began to volunteer where I could with my local unit to ensure that I stayed connected and informed. It was through these volunteer opportunities, that I came to really appreciate the value of the work that PTSA does within the local units as well as at the Area, District, County and State levels. I encourage every parent to find a way to plug into their PTA and become part of the village to support each and every child and strengthen both our schools and communities!

Hello! I’m Gina Elliott and I will be serving as Treasurer for the 2022-2023 school year. This will be my second year serving at the Council level. I served at my local unit level for four years. I have two daughters in GCPS schools and recently began my teaching career in the Mountain View cluster. I look forward to meeting and serving you all. Please contact me through my Area 2 email.

Parliamentarian

Donnette Sturdivant – parliamentarian@area2gwinnettpta.com

Donnette Sturdivant has served PTA for 16 years and has supported elementary, middle, and high school programs and the Area 2 Gwinnett Council of PTAs program. She has supported various school PTA committees including Box Tops Fundraising and Reflections in Arts and has chaired the Reflections in Arts program for both Northbrook Middle School and the Area 2 Council. Donnette currently serves as Membership Chair for the Peachtree Ridge High School PTSA and Parliamentarian for the Area 2 Council.
